Kate was born and raised in Perth and completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Western Australia. She also holds a Diploma of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG).
Prior to becoming a GP, Kate worked at a number of hospitals across Western Australia including Geraldton Regional Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
Kate’s special interests lie in women’s reproductive health care and obstetrics and, in addition to consulting one day a week at Illawarra Medical Centre, she currently holds hospital appointments at Osborne Park Hospital, Hedland Health Campus and Geraldton Regional Hospital.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys travelling, cycling, swimming, boating, baking and, most importantly, spending time with her daughter, husband, family and friends.
Kate is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
